• the Mk2 was fitted with a coilover kit (reduced rebound travel compared to regular shock absorbers)
  
• tested with drive shaft diameters of 21mm (LH) and 30mm (RH)
• material: stainless steel, laser cut
• material thickness: 1.5mm

• installation pictures exemplary show the kit for 239mm brakes, which comes with different backing plates

notes/installation instruction

• backing plates and air shovels need to be assembled in the car during the installation process
  
• order of installation:
• mount the backing plate to the wheel carrier unit
• attach the shovel to the backing plate
• attachment material is not part of the delivery scope!
• you will need following attachment materials
• either 6x rivet 5,0mm (for thickess 3,0mm and higher) - this is our recommendation!
• or 6x bolt/toothed washer/nut M5 for easy removal in case of servicing (only adequate for pure race use)
• it is essential for you to check clearance to other components during installation/before use to avoid collision under worst case scenarios:
• critical clearance will occur on drive shaft, wishbone, tie rod
• check needs to be performed in full bump and full rebound position of the suspension system for both, full steer to the left and full steer to the right
